Oh, I'm just going to be a few more excellent thank you this is been a really trying last couple of years and all of these folks over here would not be where there are at without your support so I like this time around to give are apart of things to the parents that we have it here in a minute thank you for the principal beard administrators teachers and staff thank you for organizing this wonderful event and 2nd Timothy Rector mr. Joseph start in the division of adult and Career Education of the Los Angeles Unified School District congratulations Angeles Technology Center and congratulations to be recognized for your amazing accomplishment call graduate a good evening my name is Mark Lawrence I am the c t e which means Career Technical education advisor for Los Angeles Technology Center before I begin my quick remarks I just want to tell you a little bit about our programs for those who might not be familiar obviously we have high school completion courses but in addition to that we also offer Career Training job training if anybody even if you haven't graduated from high school yet nice job training you talk to me and I will hook you up we have security courses Morris's CNA courses we have some of our wonderful graduates here today that's right that's right that's right enough construction electrician coding ministrator of assistant and that's just at our school I can help you with any of our 10 schools we have Plumbing auto mechanics you name it and guess what all the classes are going to wishon free play anything that's good so you don't have any excuses no barriers so if anybody is interested just call the school asked for me they'll give you my special secret student number you call or text there and I will set you up all right welcome graduates good I also hope you learn that you are wiser and stronger because you had to overcome obstacles job boyfriend live whatever you haven't come over sitting in d.c. we have followed by some of our graduates are in the second row from the Career and Technical education obviously are high school graduates here so that's why I keep you are sitting in these seats now a lot of people still have not made it to the seats but you have you have why am I sad why is this important because I want you to that by turning these diplomas by earning these certificates you just proved Beyond any reasonable doubt that you indeed can persist and succeed understand until you have been tested by adversity and challenges well you were all just tested and guess what you passed U-Pack now you know you can overcome now you know you can succeed that knowledge is a well-deserved gift that you gave yourself no one can ever take away I'm 58 years old so let me share a little secret NY nothing that makes you feel really good inside is easy to accomplish sit-ups her but they feel good you can eat pizza and watch Netflix all night and that doesn't feel nice but only for a little while and not really because he you know you didn't accomplish anything you can't even lie to other people cannot lie to yourself brain isn't dumb if you've done something hard there is the pain of discipline and there is the pain of regret you graduate made a choice to enjoy the short-term pain of discipline and now you have the right to feel good free of regret so please enjoy this moment enjoy it but remember it's just the beginning pushing yourself never ever give up never ever never ever never in nothing big or small Pusheen Pusheen you can do it how do I know that because you just did I know I speak the Los Angeles Technology Center you have earned our respect appreciation and admiration we are proud of you and more importantly we hope you are proud of yourself thank you thank you mr. Bragg my teacher and the best security class always making the class so comfortable and he was very understanding on why we're always late and last but not least the Teachers Lounge you at all mr. Enrique been the greatest English English teacher passes now I am at the age where I am studying to become a successful business lawyer after graduate I've also gotten a lot of hair congratulations okay thank you ma'am for the next graduate speaker to come up in slander hello everyone welcome to the cat this wedding planning nletc staff my name is Isis my name is Isis I'm so happy to be here because this graduation is very special for all of us at finishing school I received my diploma earlier this year after many years working on it for tonight I did it because I did not give up no matter how long you live finishing school at LACC makes me really happy because I was able to finish getting medication without having it La Tech I wouldn't have gotten my new phone what's really great about it is that the teachers are really helpful and I never give up on you even though I did not graduate with my friends or my classmates back in 2011 I still got it it's because I knew how important it would be for my future while trying to finish I went to Samurai at the time I went back to school I have my two boys when I started going to Aaron Tech missed call you help me a time and I look perfect for me and my schedule as a mom but even though I was glad I went back to school at 8 it's more challenges when I was working out of town but I couldn't go to school and work because the school will be over and I couldn't get after a year I quit my job to go back to school but because I needed money to support my kids I have to go back to work but then I was working out. And I had three kids it seems like what's my way finishing school want to be an option for me now that I have 4 Kids and have gotten things have gotten way more hectic for me but when coronavirus I was at home with them, they made me realize this which I did I would love to give a special thank you to me because without her I would have been confused and probably wouldn't like that every single person that has she was a the best part is that the educated me about programs that have that they have to help you become what you want to be in life she always pushes me and everyone else to present their education and that makes you a great counselor not only did I earn my high school diploma at least text but I also got started on my medical Career Training what happened to her I would like to become a forensic scientist happy now is go to college and have a career in the medical field Square meaning it might be a little more difficult but I'll be tasting Kit Kat another person I would like to give thank you it's for Miss Carter for taking her medical terminology so once again give me the Carter Enterprise in Westerville I hope I get to know everything you know Monday whenever the leads thank you so much family and friends I mean so much thank you mom forever for always encouraging me to finish school that is Mommy the same Academy last playlist. and I hope I get to show you that school is a mess and you can accomplish and I don't want to stop.
